Nawang Lobzang, a former Tibetan Buddhist monk, has studied Tibetan Astrology at Gaden Shartse Monastery in South India and Bon Monastery in North India for five years. Tibetan Astrology is different from Western Astrology. It focuses more on our personalities and characters than on how they are related to our previous lives or karma. Tibetan Astrology believes that obstacles in our lifetime are removable, and our longevity and prosperity can be increased by understanding our personal Astrology and working with ritual, prayer and meditation to increase the positive and antidote any negative karmic influences.
Nawang sees clients at the Sacred Stream Center in Berkeley and donates a portion of the proceeds to the Compassion Tour. Currently, the monks are not traveling with an astrologer. However, Nawang also works via telephone. For phone and in-person appointments, contact Nawang at (305) 801-6824 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
